Information for Breeders Looking to Adopt

We will not adopt our rats to breeders unless we have had a relationship with them for at least a year and feel comfortable with them. Feel free to contact us so we can get to know you better, but do not expect to get rats from us the moment you email!
In order for us to work with you, your rattery must:
-Be at least 18 years of age, or older
-Be registered with the NARR (click here)
-Breed for health and temperament as well as the betterment of rats over all
-Be somehow involved in the rat community (whether it is through forums, organizations, etc.)
-Have a working website complete with pedigrees of your rats, a past litters page, a rainbow bridge page, as well as health information for your rats
-Not breed more than 2 species of animal, this is because there is no feasible way anyone could devote enough time to raising well socialized, well adjusted babies if they have more than this.
-Not be actively breeding pet store rats, there are better places to get breeding rats from, and this is just irresponsible!
-Have 2-3 references from reputable ratteries
All rats adopted to breeders are on a strict breeding contract and if this is not followed the animal(s) will be reclaimed by T & M Curious Critters. (click here for a sample of contract)
